We, rakumo Inc., will implement the measures below regarding the handling and protection of personal information we received from our customers and so forth. Unless otherwise provided herein, the definitions of the terms used herein shall be the same with those definitions in Act on the Protection of Personal Information（the “Act”）.
We comply with the Act , its related regulations and guidelines when handling the personal information of our customers, partners, employees and applicant (including specific personal information of employees ; “Personal Information”).
We properly protect Personal Information by assigning a chief privacy officer and installing rules on its proper handling.
We collect Personal Information with proper methods to the extent it is necessary for our business. When collecting Personal Information, we will clearly state the purpose and usage of Personal Information, and contact information to handle complaints and inquiries.
Except the case the laws and regulations require, Personal Information must not be used beyond the purpose granted by data subject when the Personal Information is collected. We will also take measures to prevent unauthorized access to Personal Information given to us.
Reasonable safety measures, including ID and password access restrictions to data files and limited access to facilities, will be taken to protect Personal data from risks such as illegal access, loss, destruction, tamper, or leaks. Periodic review and enhancements of measures and implementation will be made.
Except the case the laws and regulations require, we will not provide Personal data with any third party without consent of data subject of such Personal Information.
An inquiry desk will be set to handle complaints and inquiries regarding the handling of Personal data and management system of Personal Information.
In case we subcontract the handling of any Personal data to the other entities, we will execute proper contract with and exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over such entities to ensure that they will use, provide and protect such Personal data.
In case we are requested to disclose, edit, add, delete, stop usage, clear, stop providing data to third parties, and/or notify the purpose of usage regarding Retained personal data by data subject(the “Disclosure etc.”), after verifying his/her identity, we will handle requests within a reasonable amount of time（the same shall apply , in cases where we are requested to disclose records made and maintained pursuant to the Act in relation to the provision of Personal data by which an individual can be identified to or from a third party）; provided, however, that the foregoing shall not apply, in cases where we are not obliged to conduct the Disclosure etc. under the Act or other laws or regulations.
We will review, improve and modify (as necessary) our handling process of Personal Information to ensure proper operation.
